On Tuesday, February 28, OnePlus announced it would launch its new phone OnePlus Ace 2V on March 7 in China, highlighting a few premium features of the device. On the official Chinese Weibo account, OnePlus posted that its new product, the brand’s first-ever mid-ranger, would feature flagship-grade flat aluminium side rails, along with a premium glass back to boot, similar to iPhone 14 series.
The phone is assured to not only look good in the hands but beautiful to the eyes because of narrow bezel. Louis Lee, CEO of OnePlus China, shared a photo of the phone with side bezels as thin as 1.46mm and a bottom chin bezel as thin as 2.31mm, comparable to flagships like the Xiaomi 13, iPhone 14, and Samsung Galaxy S23.
Louis also stated that OnePlus Ace 2V would be available in two colour options Mint Green and Charcoal Black. The former will feature a premium glossy green glass back similar to the Oppo Find X5 Pro, and the latter will feature a frosted matte black finish on the back, as found on OnePlus 10 Pro.
OnePlus also said that all its future OnePlus Ace devices would use flagship-grade aluminium for their side rails to set a high standard for durability and ergonomic in mid-range products.
The brand-new phone will have a 6.74 inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it will feature the Dimensity 9000 chipset, 16 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 80W charging support.
