Oldcastle BE announces price increase on aluminum products

Company officials attribute the price increase to rising raw material, energy and labor costs.
“Primary inputs, such as aluminum, plastics, gaskets, silicone and freight continue to rise, applying negative cost pressures on all of our products,” Mary Carol Witry, chief operating officer, said in the letter. “In addition to the material cost increases, we are experiencing a rise in labor and energy costs, resulting in higher operating costs. Despite our best internal cost containment measures, we are unable to mitigate the current costs any longer.”
