
Aluminium China 2016, held in Shanghai on July 12th-14th, was a major success. The professional sourcing and networking platform with the most comprehensive coverage of the Asia market attracted 19,530 visitors and buyers from 75 countries and regions all over the world to a compelling line-up of events that lasted three days at a stretch. The top five ex-China countries which had maximum representation at the event were South Korea, India, Japan, Thailand, and Taiwan.
There were participation from the Metal Materials and Processing Industry (covering bauxite, alumina, & aluminium powder till aluminium extruded sections) as well as Aluminium Deep Processing and Downstream Application Companies (including automotive part and vehicle manufacturing, packaging, transportation, building and construction, electronics, kitchens, solar panels, and new energy). The number of visitors from the latter group witnessed an increase of 4.56 per cent in 2016 from that in the previous year.

Aluminium China 2017
After the mega success of Aluminium China 2016, the industry is now looking forward to the next year’s edition of the international event that is scheduled for 19th-21st July, 2017. To be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, the trade fair-cum-conference will showcase the development trends in the global aluminium industry. There will also be a comprehensive analysis of new performance capabilities, technologies, applications and markets of aluminium materials, which is expected to attract purchasing managers in the fields of transport, consumer electronics, packaging, construction and other end user industries.
