"We congratulate and thank the organizers of this Mines Awards Guinea event who were kind enough to recognize the actions of the mining companies we are in towards the communities. For more than 20 years, Rusal has been successfully developing its activities in Guinea. And throughout these years, we have consistently supported Guinea's education and health system. In 2015, Rusal built a modern epidemiological centre in Guinea to fight the Ebola epidemic and, in 2020, created another multifunctional infectious disease treatment centre to counter COVID-19. Over the past decades in Guinea, thanks to our scholarship programs, hundreds of Guinean specialists of various qualifications have received quality training in Russia.”
