
The LME aluminium live price chart, on October 2, experienced falling prices, with the LME aluminium cash bid price and the LME aluminium official price losing US$21 per tonne or 0.91 per cent to officially close at US$2,286 per tonne and US$2,286.50 per tonne.
{alcircleadd}The LME aluminium price nearing the end of September saw four strong days of growth from September 26 to 29, to begin the month of October in a dampened state.
London Metal Exchange graph displayed that the 3-month bid price and the 3-month offer price have both descended by US$25 per tonne or 1.07 per cent to stop at US$2,315 per tonne and US$2,317 per tonne.
The December 24 bid price and the December 24 official price have eradicated US$20 per tonne or 0.81 per cent, settling at US$2,452 per tonne and US$2,457 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock recorded a minor rise of 725 tonnes or 0.15 per cent to finally settle at 486,775 tonnes. Live warrants stood at 174,225 tonnes, with a negligible spike of 350 tonnes or 0.20 per cent. Cancelled warrants floated by 375 tonnes or 0.12 per cent to anchor at 312,550 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price halted at US$2,360.84 per tonne, up US$53.42 per tonne or 2.3 per cent.
SHFE aluminium price
Today, on October 3, the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) aluminium benchmark price chart has flashed no updates as the Shanghai Metals Market is closed for the Mid-Autumn festival and the National Day holidays.
