
The LME complex rose for the most part, including aluminium, which added 0.91 per cent. Global aluminium benchmark price on the London Metal Exchange climbed 1.54 per cent on December 1.

LME aluminium cash (bid) price and LME official settlement price surged to US$ 2045.50 per tonne on December 1 from US$ 2014.50 per tonne on November 30. 3-months bid price and 3-months offer price stood at US$ 2052.50 per tonne, growing by US$ 30 per tonne from US$ 2022.50 per tonne in the previous day. Dec 21 bid price and Dec 21 offer price came in at US$ 2069.50 per tonne.
The LME aluminium opening stock decreased from 1374025 tonnes to 1368125 tonnes on December 1. Live Warrants hovered at 1213550 tonnes, while Cancelled Warrants at 154575 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-months Asian Reference Price stood at US$ 2044 per tonne, as of Tuesday, December 1.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
Benchmark aluminium price for SHFE extended growth to stand at US$ 2591 per tonne on Wednesday, December 2, 2020.
The most-liquid SHFE 2101 aluminium contract finished the day 1.71 per cent higher at RMB 16,615 per tonne. Open interest fell 6,617 lots to 155,680 lots.
