
On Monday, November 22, LME aluminium cash (bid) price and LME official settlement price started the week at US$2,653 per tonne and US$2,653.50 per tonne, respectively. They both decreased by US$7.50 per tonne from the previous day. On Tuesday, November 23, LME aluminium cash (bid) price jumped by US$37 per tonne to US$2,690 per tonne, while LME official settlement price climbed by US$37.50 per tonne to US$2,691 per tonne. The prices grew further the next day by US$8 per tonne to stand at US$2,698 per tonne and US$2,699 per tonne, respectively. On Thursday, November 25, both LME aluminium cash (bid) price and LME official settlement price surged by US$41.50 per tonne or 1.54 per cent to US$2,739.50 per tonne and US$2,740.50 per tonne. They closed the week on November 26 at US$2,617.50 per tonne and US$2,618.50 per tonne.

3-month bid price and 3-month offer price opened the week dated November 22 at US$2,653 per tonne and US$2,655 per tonne. They surged to US$2,684.50 per tonne and US$2,685 per tonne on Tuesday, and settled further higher at US$2,690.50 per tonne and US$2,691 per tonne on Wednesday, November 24. On Thursday, November 25, the prices continued to grow to US$2,734 per tonne and US$2,735 per tonne but shrank the next day, November 26, to US$2,617 per tonne and US$2,619 per tonne.
December 22 bid price hovered between US$2,613 per tonne and US$2,592 per tonne this week, while December 22 offer price ranged between US$2,618 per tonne and US$2,597 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock declined from 943125 tonnes on November 22 to 915850 tonnes on November 26.

SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
The benchmark aluminium price for SHFE climbed US$78 per tonne on Monday, November 22, to stand at US$2,994 per tonne. The price grew further on Tuesday, November 23, to settle at US$3,002 per tonne. On Wednesday, November 24, the SHFE aluminium benchmark price dropped by US$7 per tonne to US$2,995 per tonne, but surged the next day to US$3,035 per tonne. On Friday, November 26, the price dipped by US$8 per tonne and closed the week at US$3,027 per tonne.
