
On Thursday, October 5, both LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price slumped by US$35.5 per tonne or 1.59 per cent to halt at US$2,195 per tonne and US$2,195.50 per tonne.

As per the London Metal Exchange (LME) graph, both 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price dwindled by US$39 per tonne or 1.71 per cent and US$38 per tonne or 1.67 per cent to score at US$2,231 per tonne and US$2,233 per tonne.
December 24 bid price and December 24 offer price slipped by US$37 per tonne or 1.53 per cent to settle at US$2,368 per tonne and US$2,373 per tonne. LME aluminium opening stock came in at 500850 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants closed at 193300 tonnes and 307550 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price declined by US$42.56 per tonne or 1.86 per cent to peg at US$2,234.04 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
Today, on October 6, the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) aluminium price chart has shown no update as the China market is closed for the Mid-Autumn Festival and will reopen tomorrow.
