The investment plan of Laminazione Sottile Spa, to be completed within 2014, provides for €16 million to be spent for the construction of a new rolling mill at the facility in San Marco Evangelista (Caserta-Italia). The ongoing R&D activity on projects aiming at streamlining and defining new products and new treatments for rolling parts and the development of an IT system for a more effective production system, has led the company to work in association with the most prestigious university institutes at the Federico II University in Naples.

The corporate application fields are the food packaging, automotive, building, mechanical, air conditioning and marine industry.

The 2012 consolidated financial statement is of €242 million, with a +6% on the sales of aluminium semifinished products. The company's foreign markets – from Australia to Asia and Central America -, where Laminazione Sottile exports half of its output, report an increase by 18% in sales.
