JW Aluminum, a manufacturer of flat-rolled aluminium products used in a variety of consumer and commercial applications, has announced that it will invest $255 million in an expansion of its Mount Holly flat rolled aluminium plant in Goose Creek, South Carolina. The expansion includes the construction of new 220,000 square foot building and the installation of green, state-of-the-art technology.

The company will increase production capacity by 175 million pounds, once expansion is complete. The expansion is expected to be completed in early 2020.

JW Aluminum manufactures building and distributor sheet, fin stock, cable wrap, lithographic sheet (grade i and grade iii), auto foil and auto sheet for automotive heat shields, honeycomb foil and flexible packaging products. It operates plants in Mt. Holly, South Carolina; Russellville, Arkansas; St. Louis, Missouri and Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
