
The aluminium scrap export market of Central European nation Hungary during 2017-19 has remained very promising, as the total export volume during the period stood at 277,261 tonnes, while the revenue generation at the same time remained at $367.85 million.
The total export of aluminium scrap for 2020 has been estimated at 98,759 tonnes and the revenue to be collected might stretch up to $150.69 million. When the export volume of the past three years is added with 2020, the total volume stands at 376,020 tonnes and revenue income stands at $518.54 million.

Hungary’s aluminium scrap export in 2017 was recorded at 80,424 tonnes, whereas the revenue generation was recorded at $94.98 million. In 2018 the aluminium scrap export of Hungary saw growth by 19.33%, as the total export remained at 95,977 tonnes and Y-o-Y excess volume remained at 15,533 tonnes.
In 2019, the aluminium scrap export of the Central European nation reflected a growth by 5.08% with Y-o-Y surplus volume by 4883 tonnes, as the total export volume stood at 100,860 tonnes. The foreign revenue collection stood at $140.36 million.
The aluminium scrap export for 2020 been analysed with de-growth by 2.08%, as the total export volume might remain at 98,759 tonnes, though the revenue generation reflects up by 7.35%, as it might stretch to $150.69 million.
Hungary has been exporting aluminium scrap to multiple countries like Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, India, Italy, Latvia, Netherlands, Romania, Slovakia, Poland, Spain, etc.
