
Hind Aluminium Industries Limited, a manufacturer of aluminium and alloy conductors and aluminium wire rods, announced its second quarter results ended September 30. The company reported its net sales nosedived by 90 per cent year-on-year from INR 8.00 crore to INR 0.80 crore and a quarter-on-quarter drop of 20 per cent from 1.00 crore.
Net profit for the September 2022 quarter was INR 2.01 crore - 310.2 per cent higher year-on-year than INR 0.49 crore but 22.99 per cent less than INR 2.61 crore in the June quarter.
Hind Aluminium’s EBITDA for the September quarter was INR 3.35 crore, up 50.22 per cent from INR 2.23 crore a year ago.
The company’s EPS also grew from INR 0.78 in Q2 2021 to INR 3.19 in Q2 2022.
Hind Aluminium’s shares closed at INR 37.50 on November 16, 2022 (BSE), and gave -4.46 per cent returns over the last 6 months and 0.94 per cent over the 12 months.
