The Guangtou Beihai Green Ecological Aluminum Project is a pivotal venture within the Guangxi Investment Group's proactive strategy. It aligns closely with the vision to thrive through maritime ventures and fortify coastal endeavours. This significant initiative resonates with the "Decision on Promoting the High-quality Development of the Aluminum Industry" set forth by the autonomous region. With a formidable investment of approximately 50 billion yuan, this project sets ambitious goals with a planned annual alumina output of 4 million tons.
Complementary ventures in secondary aluminium, aluminium processing, anode carbon, and the holistic utilization of red mud will ultimately culminate in a comprehensive industrial landscape, from port logistics to the refined processing of aluminium products. This integrated ecosystem is poised to generate an annual output value of around 60 billion yuan.
This visionary project aligns with the progressive industry shift towards maritime-based alumina expansion. It will serve as a driving force for the industrialization, digitization, and ecological advancement of the aluminium sector in Guangxi.
