Nalco’s own teams of fire tenders under fire fighting service controlled the situation at the captive power plant.
Nalco's executive director (Smelter & Power) said, "There is no cause for panic. As the generator transformer was old one, the damage on account of the fire is marginal."
"The fire fighting team under the leadership of the executive director (Smelter & Power), did not allowed it to spread to adjoining area and machinery."
