The final beer and beverage cans rolled off the production line Thursday at Torrance's Ball Corp., ending a 45-year history of aluminium can manufacturing at the plant.
Ball announced in January that the Crenshaw Boulevard plant, which employed 120 people, would close by the end of the third quarter.
