Equispheres Inc. nurtures the blissful minds behind all innovations introduced in transforming the additive manufacturing industry. Recently, it partnered with Morf3D to discover new high-performance aluminium powders that enhance the performance and productivity of the metal additive manufacturing (AM) sector.

The alliance will try to develop and curate newer high-performance aluminium powders to generate better utilisation points to enhance product performance, depending on recent needs.
Morf3D is located in California and is an expert in creating, installing and activating technology systems for greater volumes of additively manufactured items designated for the defence, aviation and space industries.
The Vice-President – Product & Strategy for Equispheres, Evan Butler-Jones, exclaimed: “Morf3D is a leading innovation partner in additive manufacturing and has extensive experience with serial production. At Equispheres, we have an emphasis on application engineering and process optimisation, so we speak the same language. With Morf3D applying our materials technology, we expect to find even more opportunities for AM in space and aviation.”
The entire programme will focus on displaying how the use of specially crafted powders for high-volume production can improve the performance quotient of additively manufactured industrial items.
The Vice-President of Materials Technology with Morf3D, Dr Behrang Poorganji, illustrated: “We constantly seek innovations in additive manufacturing that will accelerate customer adoption, solve challenging problems and drive to reach traditional cost models. This collaboration with Equispheres gives us access to materials optimised for production with proven performance benefits. We’re excited to explore and share the possibilities of this technology.”
Morf3D keeps an eye on its customer’s production units by helping them to increase capacity by introducing state-of-the-art AM technologies. This also instigates the company to source extra potent materials suitable for the intricate process of 3D printing.
“Morf3D has embraced the engineering and optimisation aspects that are vital to the adoption of additive manufacturing. They have a deep pool of expertise and talent, as well as collaborations with other industry leaders. We’re happy to be a part of that network, propelling the industry forward,” Butler-Jones remarked.
Equispheres has mastered the art of developing ground-breaking solutions for supplying and using precise materials for additive manufacturing. By lending its expertise to contemporary businesses, Equispheres is hell-bent on fully optimising the aerospace, automotive and defence sectors. With lowered costs and improved material performance, the company promises great advancements in the additive manufacturing sector.
