The Romanian window and door maker Casa Noastra, owner of the QFort brand, is planning to broaden its capacity and range of products by building a new EUR 20 million aluminium profile manufacturing unit near the southern city of Craiova, Dolj County.

This will enable the company to compete domestically and abroad in countries like Italy, France, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Spain, where it conducts business. More than 200 employments will be created by the new facility.
Casa Noastrar received EUR 9 million as state funding from REI Grup in 2020 for this project. Beginning in 2020, a funding agreement for state help was secured, and over the last two years, expenditures have been made in the construction of the hall and the acquisition of equipment.
According to Neomar Consulting, the market for heat-insulating carpentry reached over EUR 900 million in 2021, with PVC profiles accounting for 80 per cent of that market and aluminium carpentry for 20 per cent.
