Egypt Aluminum (Egyptalum) brings no change to its aluminium supplying prices at EGP 52,000-64,000

Egypt Aluminum’s (Egyptalum) (EGAL) marketing head and spokesperson Ehab El Elwany has reported that the company has kept its supplying prices of aluminum to factories and retailers unchanged for January 2022. The price of local aluminium, excluding taxes, is between EGP 52,000 and EGP 64,000, noted El Elwany.

Mr Elwany also highlighted that Egyptalum has maintained its supplying prices even amid the increase in global aluminium prices by an average of $30 per tonne, recording at $2,680 per tonne in December 2021.

It is worth noting here that Egypt Aluminum had successfully achieved a net profit after tax of EGP 304.718 million for 1QFY2021-22, against a net loss of EGP 150.97 million in 1QFY2020-21.
