Dudley Aluminium collaborates with ISG and BAM to build sustainable schools in UK

Dudley Aluminium is going to join hands with ISG construction Ltd and BAM Construction for building sustainable school complexes in various parts of the UK.

The First school will be situated in Rhydyfelin, in the Pontypridd area of Wales and the second school is planned to be in North Brent, London.

Dudley Aluminium collaborates with ISG and BAM to build net-zero carbon schools in UK

Dudley has a good reputation for quality and has been recognised with several industry-related accreditations. The company owns a CHAS certification with its construction line registered and certified to manufacture “Secured by Design” products.

The Welsh-medium primary school in Rhydyfelin aims at having upgraded facilities for educational purposes, gradually aiming towards Net-Zero. The compound will feature a new playing field, multi-speciality games area, school-bus parking or circulation field and spots for staff vehicles. Dudley Aluminium will collaborate with ISG construction to make this concept a reality.

Dudley Aluminium will provide the building with sustainable Metal Technology System curtain walling, windows and doors, both remote operated and automatic.

The second school or the Nishkam Multi-faith School in North Brent will be constructed jointly by Dudley and BAM construction. Similar Metal Technology system products would be used in this case.

This school will also have Metal Technology System curtain walling with both manual or automated doors and windows. Once complete the school will capacitate 1400 primary, secondary and students from the sixth grade.

This utopian school will consist of a central faith area covered with an EFTE dome, a primary assembly hall, two dining halls, a four-court sports hall, a miscellaneous gaming space and maintained grass pitches.

To top all its sustainability credentials, the school will house an endless array of solar panels on the roof with electric charging points situated at definite spots in the parking space. A large football ground is being vouched for which would reduce the force of any arriving hurricane.

These sustainable products will provide state-of-the-art facilities which will enhance the learning of young people in South Wales and London.”
