
According to Shanghai Metals Market, stocks of 6063 aluminium billet across five major consumption areas stood at 81,500 tonnes as of Thursday, July 11, a drop of 1,700 tonnes from 83,200 tonnes on Thursday, July 4.
Inventories of aluminium billet increased 5,500 tonnes in the previous week. Aluminium billet stocks in China decreased this week as fewer deliveries arrived at warehouses.

Inventories of aluminium billet in Huzhou, Zhejiang and Nanchang, Jiangxi decreased 2,500 tonnes and 3,500 tonnes from Thursday, July 4to stand at 8,500 tonnes and 6,400 tonnes on Thursday, 11 July 2019. Stocks of aluminium billet in Changzhou, Jiangsu came in 9,800 tonnes, up 1,300 tonnes from last week.
The billet stocks in Foshan, Guangdong and Wuxi, Jiangsu stood at 47,900 tonnes and 8,900 tonnes today, an increase of 9,00 tonnes and 2,100 tonnes from Thursday.
The prices of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) remained unchanged at RMB 14,000 per tonne and RMB 14,850 per tonne. The price of aluminium alloy (A356) recorded a growth of RMB 50 per tonne to stand at RMB 14,500 per tonne.
