China’s aluminium price rises to stand at RMB 18370/t; expected to range at RMB 18350-18390/t

SMM aluminium ingot price registers a hike after four days of decline. The price stands at RMB 18370 per tonne on Tuesday, 25 May 2021, marking an increase of RMB 30 per tonne from Monday’s price of RMB 18340 per tonne. The price is expected to move within a range of RMB 18350-18390 per tonne.

In Foshan, the price has increased by RMB 40 per tonne to stand at RMB 18560 per tonne on Tuesday, 25 May 2021. In Wuxi and Hangzhou, the price has inched up by RMB 135 per tonne and RMB 65 per tonne to stand at RMB 18410 per tonne and RMB 18420 per tonne.

Aluminium ingot prices in Chongqing, Tianjin, Linyi and Gongyi have increased to stand at RMB 18420 per tonne, RMB 18390 per tonne, RMB 18510 per tonne and RMB 18360 per tonne. The price in Shenyang declined by RMB 50 per tonne at RMB 18390 per tonne.

Raw materials price of alumina, Australian Alumina FOB Price, Prebaked Anode Central, and Al Fluoride have remained unchanged at RMB 2449 per tonne, USD 276 per tonne, RMB 4220 per tonne and RMB 7600 per tonne as of Tuesday, 25 May 2021.
