
On Tuesday, April 12, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price nosedived by RMB 380 per tonne to record at RMB 20,850 per tonne. The average price for the same day is expected to orbit between RMB 20,830 per tonne and RMB 20,870 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 60-20 per tonne.

In Gongyi and Foshan the price has plunged by RMB 370 per tonne and RMB 380 per tonne to come in at RMB 20,840 per tonne and RMB 20,880 per tonne. In Wuxi and Hangzhou the price has declined by RMB 580 per tonne and RMB 570 per tonne to stop at RMB 21,220 per tonne and RMB 21,305 per tonne. For the same day in Chongqing and Shenyang, the price has witnessed downfall by RMB 355 per tonne and RMB 330 per tonne to halt at RMB 20,875 per tonne and RMB 20,900 per tonne. In Tianjin and Linyi the price has plummeted by RMB 280 per tonne and RMB 350 per tonne to peg at RMB 21,050 per tonne and RMB 21,000 per tonne.
Aluminium alloy (ADC12) price and (A380) has plunged by RMB 300 per tonne to come in at RMB 21,500 per tonne and RMB 22,500 per tonne. The average price for (ADC12) is expected to hover between RMB 21,400 per tonne and RMB 21,600 per tonne and for (A380) it is expected to orbit between RMB 22,400 per tonne and RMB 22,600 per tonne. Aluminium alloy (A356) price has also slumped by RMB 400 per tonne to close at RMB 22,300 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to range between RMB 22,200 per tonne and RMB 22,400 per tonne.
According to SMM, the average alumina spot price has inched up by RMB 2 per tonne to total at RMB 2,994 per tonne. In Guizhou the price has gone up by RMB 15 per tonne to close at RMB 3,025 per tonne. For the same day in Lianyungang and Bayuquan, the price has climbed down by RMB 50 per tonne and RMB 75 per tonne to settle at RMB 3,100 per tonne and RMB 3,175 per tonne. For the other provinces like Henan, Shanxi and Guangxi, the price has showed no changed to close at RMB 3,025 per tonne, RMB 2,965 per tonne and RMB 2,990 per tonne.
