
A00 aluminium ingot price in China has continued to decline on Wednesday, March 24, to stand at RMB 17,080 per tonne, marking the second consecutive day of fall after a hike over the weekend on Monday, March 22. According to SMM, the average prices today are expected to range between RMB 17,060 per tonne and RMB 17,100 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 20-20 per tonne, up by RMB 40 per tonne from the previous day.

In Foshan, A00 aluminium ingot price has also come in at RMB 17,080 per tonne, declining by RMB 150 per tonne on March 24. In Chongqing and Tianjin, primary aluminium ingot price has decreased by RMB 115 per tonne and RMB 100 per tonne, respectively, to stand at RMB 17,060 per tonne and RMB 17,110 per tonne. In Wuxi and Linyi, A00 aluminium ingot price has plunged by RMB 95 per tonne and RMB 90 per tonne to peg at RMB 17,090 per tonne and RMB 17,140 per tonne, while the price in Shenyang and Gongyi has shrunk by RMB 85 per tonne and RMB 70 per tonne to RMB 17,115 per tonne and RMB 17,000 per tonne, respectively. The price in Hangzhou has also slipped by RMB 70 per tonne to come in at RMB 17,115 per tonne.
Aluminium alloys (ADC12) price in China has decreased by RMB 100 per tonne to RMB 17,900 per tonne on March 24, and so have the prices of aluminium alloy (A356) and aluminium alloy (A380). While the price of aluminium alloy (A356) has settled at RMB 17,800 per tonne, the price of aluminium alloy (A380) has closed at RMB 18,900 per tonne.
Among the primary aluminium input costs, only the price of aluminium powder has dipped by RMB 0.10 per kg to come in at RMB 20.65 per kg on March 24. The prices of other aluminium raw materials have remained restrained.
