China’s A00 aluminium ingot price rebounds to US$18770/t; Aluminium alloy(A356) price closes the week at US$19350/t

A00 aluminium ingot price in China has rebounded to US$ 18,770 per tonne on Friday, June 25, by gaining RMB 110 per tonne. On the previous day, June 24, the price decreased from US$ 18,770 per tonne to US$ 18,660 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between 18,750 per tonne and RMB 18,790 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 20-20 per tonne.

Except in Foshan, the growth in A00 aluminium ingot price has touched upon all the major Chinese cities today. In Gongyi and Linyi, primary aluminium ingot price has edged up by RMB 110 per tonne to stand at RMB 18,710 per tonne and RMB 18,780 per tonne, respectively. Hangzhou has seen the highest increase of RMB 170 per tonne to RMB 18,820 per tonne, followed by a hike of RMB 130 per tonne in Shenyang to RMB 18,755 per tonne. In Wuxi, Chongqing, and Tianjin, A00 aluminium ingot price has grown by RMB 120 per tonne to stand at RMB 18,770 per tonne, RMB 18,800 per tonne, and RMB 18,760 per tonne, respectively. In Foshan, primary aluminium price has decreased by RMB 130 per tonne to RMB 18,850 per tonne, found SMM.

Aluminium alloy (A356) price has recorded an increase of RMB 100 per tonne to close the week on Friday, June 25, at RMB 19,350 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 19,300 per tonne and RMB 19,400 per tonne.

Aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have, however, remained restrained at RMB 18,300 per tonne and RMB 19,300 per tonne, respectively.

Among primary aluminium input costs, caustic soda (50% concentration) price in Shandong and aluminium powder price have inched up by RMB 5 per tonne to RMB 820 per tonne and by RMB 0.10 per kg to RMB 22.35 per kg.
