
A00 aluminium ingot price has nosedived by RMB 300 per tonne, resting at RMB 18,020 per tonne, as the Shanghai Metals Market recorded on Wednesday, January 4. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 18,000 per tonne and RMB 18,040 per tonne, with spot contracts trading at discount prices of RMB 60 per tonne and RMB 20 per tonne.

The provinces in China all have witnessed plunging prices today, with the aluminium price dropping the highest in Wuxi and Chongqing by RMB 310 per tonne, officially closing at RMB 18,000 per tonne and RMB 18,070 per tonne, respectively. The prices of aluminium in Foshan, Hangzhou and Linyi have all shed a massive RMB 300 per tonne, halting at RMB 18,000 per tonne, RMB 18,030 per tonne and RMB 18,020 per tonne. In Tianjin, the aluminium price fell by RMB 290 per tonne to stop at RMB 18,070 per tonne. The aluminium price in Shenyang has lost RMB 280 per tonne, stooping to RMB 18,080 per tonne. The aluminium price in Gonyi has witnessed RMB 270 per tonne crunch, closing at RMB 17,880 per tonne.
The price of low-carbon aluminium in China has lost RMB 380 per tonne, closing at RMB 18,872 per tonne.
The prices of high-purity aluminium (99.99%) and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) have decreased by RMB 300 per tonne to officially close at RMB 26,000 per tonne and RMB 27,000 per tonne.
The price of aluminium alloy (A356) has plummeted by RMB 300 per tonne, stopping at RMB 19,200 per tonne. The prices of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) have both declined by RMB 150 per tonne, settling down at RMB 19,150 per tonne and RMB 20,150 per tonne, respectively.
The price of aluminium powder in China has gone down by RMB 0.30 per kg to stop at RMB 19.70 per kg, with average prices ranging between RMB 19.60 per tonne and RMB 19.80 per tonne.
