China’s A00 aluminium ingot price extends growth to RMB18830/t; Aluminium alloy (A356) price gains RMB100/t

According to the Shanghai Metals Market, A00 aluminium ingot price has extended growth by RMB 60 per tonne to come in at RMB 18,830 per tonne on Monday, June 28. The average prices are expected to range between 18,810 per tonne and RMB 18,850 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 30-10 per tonne.

In Wuxi and Shenyang, A00 aluminium ingot price has gained RMB 55 per tonne to stand at RMB 18,825 per tonne and RMB 18,810 per tonne, respectively, on June 28. The price in Chongqing and Linyi has built-up RMB 50 per tonne to close at RMB 18,850 per tonne and RMB 18,830 per tonne, while the price in Tianjin has increased by RMB 40 per tonne to come in at RMB 18,800 per tonne. In Gongyi and Hangzhou, primary aluminium ingot price has inched up by RMB 20 per tonne and RMB 10 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,730 per tonne and RMB 18,830 per tonne, respectively.

Aluminium alloy (A356) price has increased by RMB 100 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,450 per tonne on June 28. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 19,400 per tonne and RMB 19,500 per tonne.

However, aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have remained restrained at RMB 18,300 per tonne and RMB 19,300 per tonne, respectively.

Among input costs, Caustic soda (50% concentration) price in Shandong has gained RMB 5 per tonne to come in at RMB 820 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 780 per tonne and RMB 860 per tonne.
