China Shanxi approves 700,000-tpy aluminum alloy project

Shanxi Development & Reform Commission has approved CPI Shanxi Aluminum Co. to build vertically integrated 700,000-tpy aluminum alloy project, China Power Investment Corporation said on its website yesterday.
The project will be supported by 4 million-tpy coal mine, 2*660MW power plants, 2 million-tpy bauxite project, 600,000-tpy aluminum smelting facility, etc., CPI said.
