After having a successful first half of 2018, Dudley’s Aluminium has reportedly secured two new projects in the recent time. The two projects in total are worth more than £1million, behind which the company has already invested more than £200,000 in taking up a new storage and offtake facility.

The Cardiff-based aluminium fabricator’s first project is for new student accommodation, GSA in Exeter and is worth in excess of £70,000. Dudley’s will be installing Metal Technology System 17 capped curtain walling and Metal Technology System 435/535 windows and doors.
Dudley’s second contract is to support the construction of Oxford-based Infineum’s Project Maia in Oxford – a new Global Centre of Innovation to support the company’s technology leadership and enable improved innovation. The company will be installing Kawneer curtain walling and doors, top of the range automatic entrance doors and Louvre doors throughout the state-of-the-art building.
Speaking about the two new contracts, Managing Director of Dudley’s Aluminium Colin Shorney said: “We are thrilled to have secured two more projects this year and are delighted to be working with Kier Construction, an outstanding construction company.”
“Both projects are great additions for their local area. Project Maia is the start of a big investment for Infineum which will bring in more than 80 jobs to Oxfordshire, while GSA in Exeter demonstrates the support for future generation’s education. We are proud to be part of two major construction projects.”
Construction is already underway; Project Maia is expected to be completed by November 2018 and GSA, Exeter by February 2019.
With more than two decades of experience in aluminium fabrication work, Dudley’s Aluminium specialises in the fabrication of architectural aluminium through its full in-house design and production facilities. The company has completed many prestigious projects around the UK and the Channel Islands.
