Boosting environmental sustainability & energy efficiency with Gui Aluminum’s all-oil recovery system

Guizhou Aluminum New Materials Co., Ltd. (Gui Aluminum New Materials) has unlocked another significant moment following the successful manufacture of the double zero aluminium foil. As per the latest report, the all-oil recovery system at the aluminium foil division of Gui Aluminum New Materials has officially commenced operation after a thorough debugging and optimisation.

Importance of the development

This development signifies a significant breakthrough in environmental protection and energy conservation. This high-efficiency energy-saving and emission-reduction system effectively separates rolling oil from the oil mist generated during the aluminium foil rolling process, utilising advanced oil-gas separation technology.

By enabling the efficient recycling of rolling oil, the system stabilises the rolling process, significantly lowers production costs, enhances the workshop environment, and reduces environmental pollution.

Thorough performance testing and parameter optimisation

During the commissioning phase, the technical team of the aluminium foil division collaborated closely with the equipment manufacturer to conduct thorough performance testing and parameter optimisation of the all-oil recovery system. This effort ensured the system's stable operation and efficient recovery capacity. Following several rounds of rigorous testing and validation, the system was successfully launched, demonstrating outstanding recycling results and excellent environmental performance.

Statistics show that the comprehensive purification efficiency of the system exceeds 96 per cent, which translates to savings of approximately RMB 10,000 per tonne of rolling oil. Currently, the division has three rolling mills in operation, and if each mill recovers 1 ton of rolling oil daily, the division can save around RMB 30,000 in costs each day.
