AZZ Inc., one of the leading suppliers of galvanizing, metal coating, and coil coating products in North America, is planning to build a new aluminium coil coating factory close to St. Louis, Missouri, and is anticipated to begin operations in 2025. The facility will be in Washington, Missouri's brand-new Oldenburg Industrial Park.

According to AZZ, the facility's network will consist of 14 facilities, each with 16 coating lines and 19 processing lines. According to the corporation, the initiative won't affect its debt leverage until 2024.
"The addition of the Washington coil coating facility with state-of-the-art equipment and technology will strengthen Precoat's position to effectively serve the growing aluminum market. This project was contemplated in our strategic rationale for acquiring Precoat Metals earlier this year and is a key element of our growth roadmap for the coil coating segment" said Tom Ferguson, CEO of AZZ Inc.
With the anticipated rise in contractual volumes from the infrastructure, AZZ anticipates sales of at least $60 million by 2026. According to the business, it has long-term contractual client commitments for 75 per cent of the increased capacity.
