Alumina spot price has recorded a rise today after the Labour Day holiday. The price increased by RMB 18 per tonne to stand at RMB 2,778 per tonne on Monday, 06 May 2019. The alumina spot price is expected to range within RMB 2,778 per tonne.
In the east and central market, the alumina price has registered a growth by RMB 10 per tonne each to stand at RMB 2,780 per tonne and RMB 2,770 per tonne, respectively. In the north and south, the alumina price has climbed by RMB 30 per tonne and RMB 10 per tonne to RMB 2,800 per tonne and RMB 2,740 per tonne.
The Australian alumina FOB price has dropped by USD13 per tonne to stand at US$350 per tonne.
A00 aluminium ingot price recorded a drop of RMB 100 per tonne today. The price stood at RMB 14,080 per tonne. Spot aluminium contract is likely to be traded at discount of RMB10 per tonne to premium of RMB30 per tonne. The aluminium price is expected to range between RMB 14,060-14100 per tonne.
The aluminium ingot price in major cities, like Fo Shan, Wuxi, Hangzhou, and Tianjin, has registered a decline today. The price in Fo Shan and Wuxi has declined by RMB 120 per tonne and RMB 125 per tonne to RMB 14,080 per tonne and RMB 14,060 per tonne. The price in Hangzhou and Tianjin has dropped by RMB 110 per tonne and RMB 100 per tonne to RMB 14,100 per tonne and RMB 14,130 per tonne.
