
The average alumina spot price in China has decreased for the second day in a row on Wednesday, November 10. According to the Shanghai Metals Market, the price has plummeted by RMB 110 per tonne to come in at RMB 3,768 per tonne.

In Shanxi, alumina spot price has seen a steep fall of RMB 175 per tonne to stand at RMB 3,725 per tonne, followed by the decline of RMB 75 per tonne in Henan to settle at RMB 3,825 per tonne. In Guizhou and Guangxi, alumina price has slipped by RMB 25 per tonne to stand at RMB 3,750 per tonne and RMB 3,725 per tonne, respectively.
The Australian alumina FOB price has recorded a plunge of US$30 per tonne on November 10 to stand at US$405 per tonne, following restraints since November 3, learned SMM.
China’s A00 aluminium ingot price has also registered a downfall today. According to SMM data, the price has shrunk by RMB 440 per tonne to stand at RMB 18,510 per tonne on November 10. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 18,490 per tonne and RMB 18,530 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 140-100 per tonne.

In Hangzhou and Wuxi, A00 aluminium ingot price is standing at RMB 18,490 per tonne as of November 10 by losing RMB 440 per tonne and RMB 430 per tonne, respectively. The price in Gongyi has also reduced by RMB 430 per tonne but standing at RMB 18,480 per tonne. In Chongqing and Foshan, the primary aluminium ingot price has plunged by RMB 435 per tonne and RMB 420 per tonne to peg at RMB 18,565 per tonne and RMB 18,640 per tonne, while the price in Linyi and Shenyang has decreased by RMB 410 per tonne and RMB 350 per tonne to stand at RMB 18,610 per tonne and RMB 18,600 per tonne, respectively.
Aluminium alloy (A356) price has plummeted by RMB 600 per tonne to stand at RMB 21,150 per tonne on November 10. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 21,100 per tonne and RMB 21,200 per tonne.
Aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have reduced by RMB 300 per tonne to close at RMB 20,300 per tonne and RMB 21,500 per tonne, respectively, on Wednesday, November 10.
