LME aluminium opened at US$3,400 per tonne last Friday and closed at US$3,480 per tonne, an increase of US$80 per tonne or 2.35%. Minth Group, a a global auto components manufacturer, on Thursday announced the opening of a 100 million euro ($110.3 million) production factory in Loznica, western Serbia. The facility will make aluminium parts for automobiles that will be mainly provided to BMW, Renault, and Toyota. The facility will employ over 1,000 employees, and also aims to construct other production units in Serbia, employing around 3,000 people in total, said Vucci.
