ASI enlists Shandong Yuhang Special Alloy Equipment as the new Production and Transformation member

On Wednesday, March 1, 2023, the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) announced that it welcomed Shandong Yuhang Special Alloy Equipment Co., Ltd as the new Production and Transformation member.

Handian Village in Zouping city is home to Shandong Yuhang special alloy equipment Co., Ltd., established in August 2011. With a registered capital of RMB 571 million, fixed assets worth RMB 2.5 billion, and a total area of 268800 m2 each year, it manufactures and processes 10000 tonnes of deep-processing goods for aluminium alloy, 250000 tonnes of ingots, and 150000 tonnes of industrial profiles made of aluminium alloy. The business has yearly revenues of around 3 billion yuan.

After becoming a member of ASI, Shandong Yuhang can accelerate the pace of achieving carbon neutrality and implementing sustainable development, promote responsible production of the aluminium industry chain, and establish close cooperation with other international partners," stated Wang Chenggang, General Manager at Shandong Yuhang Special Alloy Equipment.

The company's top-selling items are all types of industrial profiles made of aluminium and aluminium alloy, such as those used in rail transit, aerospace, automotive, power equipment, ships, containers, building templates, high-end electronic profiles, high-strength forged bars, and other premium aluminium alloy extruded profiles and precision machined parts. The degree of manufacturing and installation is among the highest in China.
