
Aluminium Stewardship Initiative announced on Tuesday, February 23, that it certified Jiangsu Zhongji Lamination Materials Co., Ltd. against Performance Standard Certification for material conversion activities at the Anhui Maximum Aluminium Industries Co. Ltd. plant in Anhui Province, China.

The plant’s main production processes include remelting and casting and cold rolling and finishing to manufacture precision aluminium strips, with an annual capacity of 120,000 tonnes.
Fiona Solomon, Chief Executive Officer at ASI said, “ASI congratulates Jiangsu Zhongji Lamination Materials Co., Ltd. on their Performance Standard certification covering their Anhui Maximum Aluminium Industries Co., Ltd. facility. We are pleased to see the company continue to extend the number of ASI Certified facilities, giving a clear signal of their ongoing commitment to responsible aluminium production.”
Du Jixing, General Manager of the ZhongJi company said, “I am very pleased that Maxim company has passed the ASI performance certification. Our company will work together with ASI in environmental governance and human rights protection.”
The independent, third-party audits of the Anhui Maximum Aluminium Industries Co., Ltd. facilities were carried out by DNV GL.
