AMG N.V. begins a new phase of integration with AMG Services Aluminum
AMG N.V. begins a new phase of integration with AMG Services Aluminum that is intended to produce greater efficiency and customer service for the global aluminum industry.

According to a recent announcement from AMG Services Aluminum and Advanced Metallurgical Group N.V., as reported by Reuters, AMG will begin an effort to produce greater coordination between six AMG Services Aluminum production sites in North America, Europe, South America and Asia. This coordination will involve an integration of customer service initiatives around the world. As the world’s largest supplier of grain refiners and aluminum master alloys, AMG stands to create a significant improvement in the aluminum industry across the globe.

According to AMG, the new integration efforts will be lead by Julien Crisnaire, the president of AMG Services Aluminum. Crisnaire follows in the footsteps of former AMG Aluminum president Rick Malliris, who retired in June of 2012. Crisnaire holds a degree in Chemical Engineering, as well as an MBA from the University of Delaware. He has worked for AMG as a member of the Corporate Development department, and also as the Operations Director for AMG Conversion Ltd. Julien Crisnaire participated in AMG Aluminum’s acquisition of KB Alloys, LLC. His focus as the president of AMG Services Aluminum includes improvement of global operational performance and customer service.

The CEO and Chairman of the Board for AMG, Dr. Heinz Schimmelbusch, commented on the work done previously by former AMG Aluminum president Rick Malliris, “We all want to thank Rick Malliris for his contributions to AMG Aluminum and wish him the best in retirement. Rick and his 47 years of service to the global aluminum industry were essential in the formation and growth of AMG Aluminum.”

The currently announced phase of integration of six AMG Services Aluminum facilities is expected to provide knowledge and experience that will lead to greater global integration as lead by Julien Crisnaire.
