Aluminium slides on global cues

Prices of aluminium declined by INR 2 per kg at the non-ferrous metals market today largely on weak global trend.
Traders said sentiments in aluminium turned weak as it declined to a three-week low in global markets after the biggest US producer flipped its outlook for the metal to an oversupply from an earlier forecast of a small deficit.
Meanwhile, aluminium for delivery in three months fell 0.3 per cent to USD 1,766.50 a metric tonne on the London Metal Exchange.
In the national capital, aluminium ingots, sheet cutting, wire scrap and utensils scrap were down by INR 2 each to INR 158,Rs 159,INR 161 and INR 158 per kg respectively.
Following are today's metal rates (in INR per kg):
Zinc ingot INR 114-120, Nickel plate (4x4) INR 1,055-1,060, Gun metal scrap INR 227, Bell metal scrap INR 229, Copper mixed scrap INR 408, Chadri deshi INR 285.
Lead ingot INR 99, Lead imported INR 100, Aluminium ingots INR 158, Aluminium sheet cutting INR 159, Aluminium wire scrap INR 161 and Aluminium utensils scrap INR 158.
