Aluminium industry leaders to gather at Dubai event

Aluminium industry leaders and professionals from more than 25 countries are set to gather at a specialised exhibition for the industry in the region next week in Dubai.
The fourth edition of Aluminium Middle East 2015 will run from April 14 to 16 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. It is being organised by Reed Exhibitions.
Under the theme ‘Forging Connections, Building Possibilities,’ the exhibition will help the region’s aluminium industry reach a new level of extraordinary growth by bring manufacturers, producers, investors and service providers under one roof.
The event will offer an opportunity to interview chief executive officers, leading experts and professionals from global industry associations and largest aluminium companies including Emirates Global Aluminium, Aluminium Bahrain, Sohar Aluminium from Oman, Danieli, SMS Group, Fata S.p.A, Zhongwang, Presezzi Extrusion and more than 200 other exhibitors.
Meanwhile, the UAE will have a strong presence at the exhibition with top industry players from the Arab world’s second largest economy confirming their participation.
The UAE is the world's fourth largest aluminium producer, accounting for over 50 per cent of the Gulf's aluminium production, according to a report.
About nine per cent of total global primary aluminium production will come from the Middle East by 2020, it said.
The worldwide demand for aluminium will continue increasing at an average of 6.5 per cent annually, according to the Aluminium Manufacturers and Producers Association (AMPA).
