Aluminium futures gain on spot demand

In futures trading at the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in May inched up by 40 paise, or 0.40 per cent, to INR 101.30 per kg, in a business turnover of two lots.
Likewise, the metal for delivery in current month traded higher by 30 paise, or 0.30 per cent, to INR 100 per kg in 187 lots.
Traders said increased domestic demand from consuming industries at the spot markets, helped aluminium futures to trade higher.
