Aluminium futures down on overseas trend

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in August lost 30 paise, or 0.26 per cent, to INR 115.35 per kg, with a business turnover of 250 lots.
The metal for delivery in July also shed 25 paise, or 0.22 per cent, to trade at INR 114.15 per kg in a turnover of 250 lots.
Marketmen said a weak trend in copper and other base metals at the London Metal Exchange and subdued demand from consuming industries at domestic spot markets, mainly put pressure on aluminium prices at futures trade here.
