Aluminium dross processing company Taha International strengthens its management team

Taha International, headquartered in Bahrain, as part of its further growth strategy, and to support the company entering a robust new phase of expansion, has strengthened the management team with three key appointments.

Graham Bruce, formerly CEO of Gulf Aluminium Rolling Mill (Garmco) Bahrain, and ex-Chief Commercial Officer of Oman Aluminium Rolling Company, (OARC) Oman, has taken up the post of deputy CEO of Taha effective 18th October. Mr Bruce has been in the region since 2010 and is delighted to return to Bahrain to join Taha at this exciting moment in the company’s development.

Max von Arnim, a partner at Fjord Capital has taken up the role of CFO for the Taha Group in Bahrain. Fjord are a London - based private equity investor focused on industrial resource efficiency and have invested into TAHA since 2013. Fjord are dedicated to growing and adding long - term value to their portfolio companies by taking a hands - on approach and becoming a strategic partner to owners and management.

Robert Vesper, Head of Operations. Robert is a seasoned industrial professional with over 20 Years of experience in the metals industry and 9 Years in dross processing. Robert’s exemplary operational leadership and vast product knowledge are cornerstones to TAHA’s Core competencies.

Taha, The new benchmark in aluminium dross processing, provides salt - free, cost - effective and environmentally friendly dross - processing solutions to aluminium smelters and remelters worldwide. Its Zero waste solution, ensuring that no dross is sent to landfill, refines residual oxides to produce feedstock for suitable downstream applications, including agricultural soil conditioners and fertilisers. It is in these downstream applications that Taha are strategically poised to expand and the new members of the management team are brought on board to help lead the expansion. Taha have long - term agreements in place with a leading smelter in Oceania and across the GCC - the engine of growth for the aluminium industry - With on - site facilities in a number of GCC countries.
