
The average spot alumina price stands at RMB 2454 per tonne on Monday, 13 January 2020, an increase of RMB 8 per tonne or 0.33 per cent from RMB 2446 per tonne on January 10. The alumina prices in China have increased in all major markets, except South.

The average prices of Alumina-East and Alumina-Central have risen by RMB 10 per tonne each to stand at RMB 2450 per tonne and RMB 2470 per tonne. Their average prices are expected to range at RMB 2430-2470 per tonne and RMB 2460-2480 per tonne. The price in Central stands at RMB 2465 per tonne, up RMB 5 per tonne. South China markets remain unchanged at RMB 2520 per tonne.
After a continuous rise for the past three days in a row, A00 aluminium ingot price has declined by RMB 130 per tonne from its earlier price to RMB14400 per tonne on January 13. The price is expected to move within a range of RMB 14380-14420 per tonne.

Aluminium ingot prices in Foshan and Wuxi stand at RMB 14400 per tonne and RMB 14350 per tonne, down RMB 120 per tonne and RMB 145 per tonne. The prices in Hangzhou, Chongqing, and Shenyang have reduced by RMB 145 per tonne, RMB 60 per tonne and RMB 130 per tonne to stand at RMB 14345 per tonne, RMB 14460 per tonne, and RMB 14390 per tonne.
In Tianjin, Linyi, and Gongyi, the aluminium price has decreased to stand at RMB 14360 per tonne, RMB 14410 per tonne, and RMB 14220 per tonne.
The Aluminium alloy (ZLD102) and Aluminium alloy (ZLD104) prices have increased by RMB 100 per tonne each to RMB 14800 per tonne and RMB 15025 per tonne. The aluminium alloy (A356) price is also down by RMB 100 per tonne to RMB 15100 per tonne.
