Aluminium aircraft parts provider Daiki Seiko Co. has momentarily started manufacturing aluminium bear bells, citing an increased rate of wild bear attacks in the country.

The Komaki-based die-maker is an expert in creating precisely engineered aluminium components for the aerospace industry. But, the prevailing bear fear has instigated the company to enter this particular end-user business.
The bear bell project was initiated in August and has been designed so that the high-pitch tone can travel longer distances. The bells are usually 6 centimetres long and sport a 4 centimetre diameter. The bells are casted from rigid or hard aluminium, a 100% recyclable metal. Due to aluminium's lightweight property, a bear bell's average weight is only 35 grams.
Daiki Seiko Co. already possesses a list of delighted customers with an initial batch of 200 aluminium items sold in the first go. The company is now planning to manufacture another 100 aluminium bear bells.
Hirokazu Saito, the company’s President, asserted: “We want to get them to people having trouble with bears. “
The bells are cheap and can be availed through the crowdfunding site Makuake. Though, the last date for circulation is December 30.
Established in 1922, having just a secondary aluminium smelting business in Osaka, Daiki Seiko gradually became an expert manufacturer in the aviation sector with its state-of-the-art pressure die-casted and rolled aluminium products. They are revered for producing premium quality aluminium items for a vivid range of clients. Daiki Seiko Co. is an integrated aluminium solutions provider as all its operations starting from research, production and after-sales services are conducted internally.
