Asia Clean Capital Vietnam (ACC Vietnam) has joined hands with aerospace components provider Universal Alloy Corporation Vietnam (UACV), agreeing on a 15-year power purchasing deal. The partnership has begun shaping a rooftop solar PV project with a capacity of 4.3 MWp, which will be crucial for running UACV’s aluminium-related operations.

Adhering to the clause laid down by the partnership, ACC Vietnam will supply UACV with a turnkey green energy system wired to a 4.3 MWp rooftop solar PV solution. The PV solution has been specially crafted to achieve the highest safety standards in a terrain that gets affected by gales or typhoons every now and then.
Almost 7,172 modules will be placed so that the solar panels can generate 5,906.91 MWh power, disregarding the chances of emitting 4,802.3 tonnes of CO2 each year. UACV is on track to curtail 27% of its annual power consumption by taking this phenomenal step.
Before all this, an inauguration ceremony for this project was hosted at a UACV facility.
The general director of UACV, Trương Hoàng Nguyên, asserted a clear notion through his statement: “At Universal Alloy Corporation Vietnam, we have a vision of achieving net-zero emissions by 2035. Installing the rooftop solar PV system is one of the first major steps that we are implementing in Việt Nam to realise this vision. We want to operate with zero CO2 generation. In addition, Universal Alloy Corporation is recycling 98 per cent of our main raw material, aluminium.”
Founded in 2019, Universal Alloy Corporation Vietnam has become a leader in developing and exporting aviation components to Europe and North America. It has already exported products worth US$11 million in 2021 and $35 million in 2022. The company dreams of reaching $60 million by 2026 and $90 million by 2028.
The aviation or aerospace industry requires high-quality aluminium alloy extrusions, keeping the tenacity of a particular flight vehicle in mind. On the other hand, the components must be lightweight enough to float in the air without facing any obstructions. Therefore all the high-strength hard alloy aluminium extrusions produced by UACV undergo rigorous compliance protocols to be eligible for export to European or North American markets.
ACC Vietnam provides rooftop solar PV systems, also actively looking after the ESG needs for MRV (measurable, recordable, and verifiable) data. The company will open the portal for its specialised blockchain platform managed by Allinfra, which gathers attested carbon data directly from the origin and permits transparency in ESG reporting and carbon credit tokenisation.
Asia Clean Capital Vietnam is the flagbearer of Net Zero emissions for various international companies and domestic organisations, delivering customised solutions for individual needs.
