
A00 aluminium ingot price edged lower by RMB 100 per tonne or 0.70 per cent to stand at RMB 14200 per tonne on Wednesday, 15 January 2020, from Tuesday’s price of RMB 14300 per tonne. This marked the third consecutive fall in aluminium ingot price. The price is expected to range at RMB 14180-14220 per tonne. Spot aluminium contract is likely to be traded at a discount of RMB 310 per tonne to a premium of RMB 270 per tonne.

In Foshan and Wuxi, the price fell by RMB 70 per tonne and RMB 90 per tonne to stand at RMB 14210 per tonne and RMB 14150 per tonne on January 15. Their average prices are expected to range within RMB 14190-14230 per tonne and RMB 14140-14160 per tonne. Aluminium prices in Hangzhou and Chongqing came in at RMB 14160 per tonne and RMB 14240 per tonne, down RMB 90 per tonne and RMB 100 per tonne. Their average prices are expected to range within RMB 14150-14170 per tonne and RMB 14220-14260 per tonne.
Aluminium ingot prices in Shenyang, Tianjin, Linyi, and Gongyi dropped to stand at RMB 14170 per tonne, RMB 14190 per tonne, RMB 14220 per tonne, and RMB 13995 per tonne.
Aluminium Alloy (A356) price was down by RMB 100 per tonne or 0.67 per cent to RMB 14900 per tonne and is expected to move within a range of RMB 14850- 14950 per tonne. The prices of aluminium alloy (ZLD102) and aluminium alloy (ZLD104) stood at RMB 14600 per tonne and RMB 14825 per tonne. Their average prices are expected to range at RMB 14200- 15000 per tonne and RMB 14700- 14950 per tonne.
