
A00 aluminium ingot price in China has extended decline for the third day in a row to stand at RMB 16,500 per tonne on Monday, December 7, according to the Shanghai Metals Market. The price has decreased by RMB 110 per tonne, slower compared with the decline of RMB 240 per tonne on Friday, December 4. The average prices today are expected to range between RMB 16,480 per tonne and RMB 16,520 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 80-120 per tonne, down by RMB 10 from the previous day.

In Hangzhou, A00 aluminium ingot price has decreased by RMB 180 per tonne to come in at RMB 16,520 per tonne, followed by the fall of RMB 140 per tonne in Wuxi to RMB 16,500 per tonne. In Gongyi, Foshan, and Chongqing, the primary aluminium ingot price has plunged by RMB 120 per tonne to RMB 16,370 per tonne, RMB 16,520 per tonne, and RMB 16,445 per tonne, respectively. In Tianjin and Linyi, A00 aluminium ingot price has also decreased by RMB 120 per tonne to peg at RMB 16,490 per tonne and RMB 16,540 per tonne. In Shenyang, A00 aluminium ingot price has inched down by RMB 55 per tonne to RMB 16,500 per tonne.
The price of aluminium alloy (A356) has declined as well by RMB 100 per tonne to stand at RMB 17,200 per tonne, as of December 7, found the Shanghai Metals Market. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 17,150 per tonne and RMB 17,250 per tonne.

However, the prices of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) have remained restrained at RMB 17,350 per tonne and RMB 18,250 per tonne, respectively.
Coming to the primary aluminium input costs, aluminium powder price has dipped by RMB 0.1 per tonne to come in at RMB 20.05 per tonne, while the rest has remained muted.
