
According to the Shanghai Metals Market, A00 aluminium ingot price has extended its growth by RMB 160 per tonne to close the week on Friday, February 5, at RMB 15,510 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 15,490 per tonne and RMB 15,530 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 70-30 per tonne, down by RMB 50 per tonne from the previous day.

In Foshan and Chongqing, primary aluminium ingot price has increased by RMB 170 per tonne to RMB 15,470 per tonne and RMB 15,500 per tonne, respectively, while the price in Gongyi, Tianjin, and Linyi has climbed by RMB 140 per tonne to come in at RMB 15,370 per tonne, RMB 15,450 per tonne, and RMB 15,530 per tonne, respectively. In Shenyang and Wuxi, primary aluminium ingot price has surged by RMB 130 per tonne and RMB 115 per tonne to stand at RMB 15,480 per tonne and RMB 15,470 per tonne, and that in Wuxi and Hangzhou has grown by RMB 115 per tonne and RMB 110 per tonne to RMB 15,470 per tonne and RMB 15,495 per tonne, respectively.
Aluminium alloy (A356) price has recorded a hike of RMB 150 per tonne to peg at RMB 16,200 per tonne on Friday, February 5. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 16,150 per tonne and RMB 16,250 per tonne.
Aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have, however, remained restrained at RMB 17,000 per tonne and RMB 17,900 per tonne, respectively.
Among the primary aluminium input costs, aluminium powder price has inched up by RMB 0.20 per kg to settle at RMB 19.05 per kg on February 5.
