
According to the Shanghai Metals Market, A00 aluminium ingot price has opened the week on Monday with a surge of RMB 430 per tonne, following consecutive declines in the past four days. Data shows the price is standing at RMB 19,100 per tonne as of July 5. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 19,080 per tonne and RMB 19,120 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 50-10 per tonne.

In Chongqing, A00 aluminium ingot price has climbed by RMB 415 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,085 per tonne, followed by the increase of RMB 410 per tonne in Hangzhou and Wuxi to RMB 19,100 per tonne and RMB 19,090 per tonne, respectively. In Foshan and Shenyang, primary aluminium ingot price has jumped by RMB 400 per tonne to come in at RMB 19,180 per tonne and RMB 19,070 per tonne, while the price in Tianjin and Gongyi has grown by RMB 390 per tonne and RMB 380 per tonne to close at RMB 19,050 per tonne and RMB 18,990 per tonne, respectively. A00 aluminium ingot price in Linyi has built-up RMB 350 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,020 per tonne as of July 5.
Backed on the surge in primary aluminium ingot price, aluminium alloy (A356) price has soared by RMB 500 per tonne to peg at RMB 19,750 per tonne, found SMM. The average prices are likely to range between RMB 19,700 per tonne and RMB 19,800 per tonne.

Aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have, however, increased by RMB 100 per tonne to come in at RMB 18,200 per tonne and RMB 19,200 per tonne, respectively.
Among primary aluminium input costs, aluminium powder price has grown by RMB 0.40 per kg to come in at RMB 22.65 per kg on Monday, July 5, learned SMM.
