
According to the Shanghai Metals Market, A00 aluminium ingot price in China has recorded a jump of RMB 200 per tonne on Wednesday, January 4, following a plunge of RMB 250 per tonne on the previous day. Thus, the price is currently standing at RMB 20,300 per tonne, with average prices to range between RMB 20,280-20,320 per tonne. The spot contract is estimated to be traded at a premium price of RMB 20-20 per tonne, up by RMB 40 from January 4.

In Tianjin and Linyi, A00 aluminium ingot price has hiked by RMB 240 per tonne and RMB 220 per tonne to hover around RMB 20,320 per tonne and RMB 20,420 per tonne, respectively, while the price Wuxi and Shenyang has expanded by RMB 215 per tonne and RMB 210 per tonne to stand at RMB 20,315 per tonne and RMB 20,300 per tonne. In Gongyi, Hangzhou, and Foshan, the primary aluminium ingot price has climbed by RMB 190 per tonne, RMB 185 per tonne, and RMB 170 per tonne to come in at RMB 20,220 per tonne, RMB 20,335 per tonne, and RMB 20,290 per tonne, respectively.
China’s low-carbon aluminium price has seen a rise of RMB 202 per tonne to RMB 20,886 per tonne as of January 5, found SMM. On January 4, the price witnessed a downfall of RMB 279 per tonne to come in at RMB 20,684 per tonne.
Among aluminium alloys prices, aluminium alloy (A356) price has increased by RMB 200 per tonne as well to settle at RMB 22,250 per tonne, after seeing a decline of the same amount last day. The average prices are estimated to range between RMB 22,200 per tonne and RMB 22,300 per tonne.

Aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have remained restrained at 20,450 per tonne and RMB 21,650 per tonne, respectively.

Of all the primary aluminium input costs, caustic soda (32% concentration) price in Shandong has dipped by RMB 15 per tonne to come in at RMB 910 per tonne, while the prices of other raw materials have mostly remained unchanged.
