A00 aluminium ingot price in China hikes by RMB 140/t; Aluminium alloy (A356) price escalates by RMB 100/t

On Wednesday, December 22, the average alumina spot price in China has remained restrained to stand at RMB 2,818 per tonne, found the Shanghai Metals Market.

The average alumina price in Shandong and Henan has also remained the same to come in at RMB 2,915 per tonne and RMB 2,815 per tonne, for the same day. On the other hand in provinces like Shanxi, Guizhou, and Guangxi the price has stood the same as well. The price has been recorded at RMB 2,815 per tonne, RMB 2,850 per tonne and RMB 2,735 per tonne. In Lianyungang and Bayuquan also the price has stood the same at RMB 2,925 per tonne and RMB 2,975 per tonne.

The Australian alumina FOB price has remained the same to clock in at RMB 345 per tonne.

The price of A00 aluminium ingot has surged by RMB 140 per tonne to register at RMB 19,560 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to stay between RMB 19,540 per tonne and RMB 19,580 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 170-130 per tonne, for the same day.

The price in Gongyi and Chongqing has increased by RMB 140 per tonne to stand at RMB 19,560 per tonne and RMB 19,600 per tonne. In Wuxi and Hangzhou, the price has gone up by RMB 155 per tonne to close at RMB 19,565 per tonne and RMB 19,570 per tonne, for the same day. In Foshan, the price has hiked by RMB 130 per tonne to register at RMB 19,650 per tonne. In Shenyang and Tianjin, the price has soared up by RMB 120 per tonne and RMB 100 per tonne, to close at RMB 19,500 per tonne and RMB 19,490 per tonne, respectively. In Linyi, the price has climbed up by RMB 160 per tonne to total at RMB 19,670 per tonne.

The aluminium alloy price (ADC12) and (A380) has remained restrained to stand at RMB 20,400 per tonne and RMB 21,600 per tonne. The average price for (ADC12) is expected to orbit between 20,300 per tonne and RMB 20,500 per tonne.

The aluminium alloy price (A356) has gone up by RMB 100 to come in at RMB 21,550 per tonne. The average price is expected to range between RMB 21,500 per tonne and RMB 21,600 per tonne.
